Description: Our client is seeking an Identity Management Technical Specialist.
Responsibilities Include:
- Reporting to the Chief Designer
- Leverage existing technical design and infrastructure to support Single Sign-On across applications within the Portal Platform
- Design and deliver high-grade authentication mechanisms leveraging high-assurance, digital certificates, and two factor authentication
- Drive development of a centralized entitlement engine based on Cisco Securent and ensure team delivers a quality software product in accordance with industry best practices and architectural design patterns
- Writing the Technical Design Document, performing Code Reviews and suggesting Code optimizations
- Tracking project schedule progress and low level tasks
- Successful expansion of the IDM offering in the public sector and provide enhancements to the current IDM offering and supported integration of IDM services into the NextGen platform is expected

Requirements: Application Technical Specialist Qualifications:
- Must be a senior technical resource with at least 7+ years of systems development and implementation experience in Java or Microsoft Technologies and can lead a technology team
- Must be capable of designing technical solutions based on FRDs and ad hoc Business Requests
- Should be able to assess performance and scalability impacts of proposed solutions
- Should be able to provide technical guidance and troubleshooting assistance to other team members
- 5+ years of hands-on experience working within the J2EE environment
- Adept at Microsoft Technologies (ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server 2005, SharePoint 2007, Web Services, and XML)
- Hands-on experience with implementing Web Services
- Strong knowledge and experience with implementing web services security in a prior project are required
- Extensive experience working with WebSphere Application Server and RAD IDE or Eclipse
- Working knowledge of PKI, Diffie-Helman, and other core concepts is essential
- Working knowledge of Digital Certificates, Certificate Authorities, OCSP, and digital certificate verification
- Experience with nCipher, CoreStreet, Tumbleweed, Adobe Reader, PDF Generation, Active Directory, SunONE LDAP, Avoco Secure, and Arcot are all seen as a plus
- Must have been responsible for writing a Technical Design Document, performing Code Reviews, and suggesting Code optimizations
- Optional experience is viewed as a plus to include Netegrity SiteMinder from CA, SAML, SiteMinder, SharePoint 2007, and Oracle Entitlement Server
- Knowledge of federated authentication, WS-Federation, SAML, external entitlement engines, and SOA (specifically Web Services and associated security)
- Industry knowledge of key players and companies in the Identity Management space
