Description: The Senior Data Analyst (DA) will work as a member of the corporate Materials Systems group with a primary focus on analyzing, designing, and implementing Item Master related data objects within the Oracle eBusiness Suite. The DA will serve as an intermediary between the Oracle project team, corporate operations and quality group, and vendor solution teams in delivery of technology supporting the Oracle eBusiness Suite across business units. The DA will apply business domain knowledge, analytical problem solving, and Systems and applications knowledge in support of the Oracle project.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work with appropriate business functions to understand and document business requirements related to Item Master data objects
- Identify and analyze gaps between standard Oracle application offering and specific business requirements
- Organize and lead design discussions related to conversions and associated control reporting that will be required
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications for Systems to meet business needs
- Ensure consistency and compatibility across the multiple projects and Systems where appropriate
- Lead the effort to identify, structure, cleanse, and map critical Item Master data elements (items, catalogs, categories, product lines, and other key attribute data)
- Resolve identified functional and data-related issues in a timely fashion
- Work with vendor to understand configurations in order to test system settings and options
- Lead conversion testing cycles that will be required to support the project timeline
- Train end users on specific data structure and configuration within the new applications
- Participate as a member of the implementation team at multiple sites throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the production release and participate in go-live at multiple sites

Requirements: Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Finance and 5-8 years of experience OR a Master's degree and 3-6 years of experience
- 3-5 years use of MS Office tools
- 3-5 years of experience with Master Data Management processes and systems preferably with Item (or product) Master in a Supply Chain or Order to Cash environment
- 1-3 years of experience in Master Data cleansing, standardization and mapping activities in an ERP environment
- Minimum 5-7 years of Materials Management experience
- Ability to travel internationally 30 to 50% of the time
- Effectively communicate in both a verbal and written fashion
- Demonstrate time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-3 years experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotech industry
- 1-3 years of working in or supporting a validated software environment
- 1-3 years experience or demonstrated training in the following Oracle modules: INV, OPM, BOM, Product Data Hub, and Discoverer/OBIEE
- Knowledge of Oracle AIM or any other ERP implementation methodology
- APICS certification
