| Description: The Senior MySQL DBA will implement and manage an enterprise level MySQL installation and support a variety of production, development and QA databases. This role will develop and implement MySQL database standards and infrastructure and will perform installations, backups, loads, and schema alterations, and contribute to disaster recovery design, warehousing initiatives and tool selection. Additional responsibilities may include DB2/UDB and/or Oracle database administration, although experience with these databases is not required.

Requirements include:
- Strong MySQL DBA experience
- Knowledge of SQL and Shell (or related scripting language).
- Strong knowledge of Linux or Unix
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to mentor junior DBAs.
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience with DB2/UDB and/or Oracle database administration is preferred.
