Description:  Technical Project Manager responsibilities:
  • Lead Implementation Planning meetings prior to deployment
  • Facilitate implementation workbook review meetings with functional teams, to build runbook and backout plans
  • Engage and schedule functional resources in support of deployment and implementation verification.
  • Acquire final approvals from QA and the LOB for application deployments.
  • Coordinates Mock Deployments
  • Responsible for QA, UAT, PERF, DR, Prod, client-facing environments: Project Deploys and Infrastructure Upgrades.
  • Coordinates with Configuration Manager to ensure that all applicable environment issues are resolved in advance of production implementation
  • Execute deployment according to implementation plan
  • Coordinate overall deployment.
  • Partner with Card Project Manager to execute Command Center Plan.
  • Track deployment activities as they occur using implementation plan.
  • Facilitate resolution of issues during deployment and escalate issues where necessary.
  • Add post deployment activities where needed.
  • Post Deployment meeting to review issues and post deployment activities.
  • Communicate status to Senior Management and LOB via checkpoint conference bridge.
  • Communicate overall completion status to Technology Project Manager.
  • Produce workbook including detailed implementation tasks, PVT Plan, Backout and Contact Lists.
  • Post Implementation Artifacts to Data Repository
General duties:
  • Manage technical projects or program teams from initiation through implementation, including: planning, analysis, and design development and implementation
  • Provide overall direction for establishing project requirements, priorities, and deadlines
  • Integrate project plans into program plans
  • Establish roles and responsibilities within the core program team
  • Allocate and coordinate resources (staff, equipment, vendors, and consultants) across one or more projects
  • Manage budget for assigned projects, develop and monitor project/program plans
