| Description: The Enterprise Integration Services/SOA (EIS/SOA) Team is responsible for managing requirements, designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise application collaborations across disparate platforms. Within EIS/SOA, the Integration System Design group bears primary responsibility for the architecture and design of enterprise integration Infrastructure projects involving operational IT systems at the company. These systems are used within all facets of the company, the electronic care delivery system, website, and within the Health Plan and Business Infrastructure business units. The Infrastructure Solution Design Consulting Engineers who are part of this team analyze the infrastructure requirements based on Technology used to come up with scalable, highly reliable and continuously available solutions.
The Infrastructure Solution Design Consulting Engineer (SDE) acts as the liaison between EIS and other IT constituents for development of integration requirements and enhancing existing middleware technologies, in the areas of strategic solutions for scalable, reliable and highly available infrastructure. The SDE works with EIS Team to review and validate functional and non-functional integration infrastructure requirements and then works with other IT organizations for implementations. This person provides subject matter expertise with thorough understanding of interdependencies of integrated systems, specifically, middleware infrastructure. The SDE will apply industry best practices regarding Service Oriented Architectures and system modeling in order to satisfy business and technical requirements by developing a reusable, manageable, and cost-effective integration framework. Ultimately, this person will provide strategic and operational related advisory to improve and optimize the performance and continuous availability.

| Requirements: The qualified individual will hold a BA or BS Degree in Information Management, Information Technology or Engineering disciplines. Excellent problem identification and solving skills are essential. Experience with integrated testing across multiple applications and application development teams is beneficial, as is experience working with RUP and agile teams.
